Transformational Facilitation Training 1

Date: Jul 17th, 2010 6:00 pm to Jul 25th, 2010 2:00 pm
Description:

Presented by Inner Journey Seminars and Cook Ross Inc.

This program is designed to train individuals in the facilitation of individual and group work. Participants will learn the integrated spiritual, philosophical, and psychological work of the Inner Journey Seminar. This training teaches a powerful combination of skills techniques with the potential for tremendous inner transformation.

What makes this training unique is the spiritual perspective of the work. Our approach starts with the psychological, emotional, and mental levels and facilitates people towards a deep inner spiritual experience: a "non-denominational religiousness."

To be a 'spiritual facilitator' in this context is a special privilege and gift that requires the trainee to walk their own path of inner growth.

This program is not specifically offered to train participants to facilitate the Inner Journey Seminar, but rather to learn the tools, techniques and spiritual approach of the Inner Journey work to facilitate people in your current or future profession.

The Essential Pilgrimage

Date: Apr 17th, 2010 10:00 am to Apr 18th, 2010 6:00 pm
Description:

The Essential Pilgrimage is a weekend program designed to explore the essential themes of our lives. It’s a school of enlightenment for the modern soul - a supportive, encouraging, and inspirational place to inquire, to connect with Spirit, and to Awaken. Led by Michael Schiesser – original creator of the Inner Journey, the program synthesizes dynamic teaching with profound experiential work, and expressions of devotion and grace to guide us on our journey within.

The subject of this Essential Pilgrimage is JOY. In our essential nature we are joyous, are able to en'joy', to delight in the gifts of life. Yet, to different degrees we have lost access to this inner source of JOY. This  weekend is dedicated to reconnect and open up to the true JOYOUSNESS from within our Being.

The Enneagram in Everyday Life: Type 8 and Type 9/Wrap-up

Date: Mar 28th, 2010 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm
Description:

The Enneagram is a personality mapping system, which describes a system of knowledge about nine distinct but interrelated personality types, or nine ways of seeing and experiencing the world.  The Enneagram is generally presented as a system for mapping and understanding the nine personality types. Each personality type associated with the Enneagram represents a map of traits that highlights patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. By learning one’s type and the patterns and habits associated with that type, one can use the Enneagram system as an effective tool for self-understanding and self-development.

In addition, an understanding of the Enneagram can prove effective in creating better understanding in personal and business relationships. Each Enneagram personality type is a description of a particular pattern of attention, sometimes referred to as a fixation. By learning about what kinds of things we attend to and put energy into, we can observe yourself more accurately and develop more self-awareness, and thus can exercise more choice about our functioning rather than engaging in patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior in an automatic, habitual, unconscious way.

If you did not attend the one-day session, please take the test in The Wisdom of the Enneagram, by Don Riso and Russ Hudson to find out your primary type.   There are also tests online you can take, with varied reliability.  These results will give you some context for when you attend the individual sessions.
